2. Free Shipping Eligibility:
2.1. Orders with a total value of £100 or more (before taxes and shipping fees) are eligible for free standard shipping within the United Kingdom.
3. Shipping Fees:
3.1. For orders under £100, standard shipping fees will apply. The exact shipping cost will be calculated at checkout based on the size and weight of your order.
4. Delivery Method:
4.1. All orders received within our covered delivery zones will be delivered by our own private delivery fleet,
4.2. For all orders outside of our covered areas, we use reputable courier services to ensure safe and timely delivery of your orders.
5. Tracking Your Order:
5.1. Once your order is shipped, you will receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number. You can use this number to monitor the status and location of your package.
6. Delivery Address:
6.1. You are responsible for providing accurate and complete shipping information. We are not liable for undeliverable packages due to incorrect addresses provided by customers.
7. International Shipping:
7.1. We offer international shipping to all countries via air freight. Shipping costs and estimated delivery times will be calculated upon checkout.
7.2. Customs Fees: All customs duties, taxes, and fees associated with international shipments are the sole responsibility of the customer. These charges are determined by the destination country and must be settled directly with the relevant authorities.
7.3. Losses and Damages: Once goods leave the UK and are handed over to the shipping carrier, UKCS Group is no longer responsible for any loss or damage that may occur during transit. Customers are advised to ensure adequate insurance coverage through the shipping provider, if necessary.
7.4 Unpaid Customs Duties and Import Charges
For all international shipments, the customer or recipient is solely responsible for paying any customs duties, import VAT, taxes, clearance fees, storage charges or other costs imposed by the destination country, customs authority or shipping carrier.
If the customer or recipient fails or refuses to pay such charges, or fails to complete any required customs clearance procedures, the shipment may be held, returned, abandoned, seized, disposed of or destroyed by the relevant authority or carrier.
UKCS Group has no control over these actions and accepts no liability for any resulting loss where the failure to deliver is caused by unpaid customs charges or incomplete customs clearance.
Where goods are not returned to UKCS Group, no refund will be issued for the goods, delivery charges or any associated costs, to the fullest extent permitted by law.
Where goods are returned to UKCS Group, any refund due will be subject to the condition of the returned goods and may be reduced by any original shipping costs, return freight charges, customs duties, taxes, storage fees, handling charges or other costs incurred by UKCS Group as a result of the failed delivery.
Any additional charges imposed on UKCS Group by the carrier, customs authority or other third party as a result of the customer’s failure to pay import charges or complete customs clearance may also be deducted from any refund or invoiced to the customer separately.
Nothing in this clause affects any statutory rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.
8. Delayed Shipments:
8.1. While we make every effort to meet our delivery commitments, delays may occur due to unforeseen circumstances beyond our control, such as adverse weather conditions or courier service disruptions.
9. Non-Delivery and Disputed Delivery:
9.1. Reporting Period: Customers should notify UKCS Group in writing of any non-delivery within 14 calendar days after the latest estimated delivery date communicated to them. Where a delivery date range is provided, this period runs from the final date in that range. If a revised estimated delivery date is communicated, the period runs from that revised date. This also applies where an order is marked as delivered but has not been received.
9.2. Notification and Investigation: Reports should be emailed to info@ukcs-ltd.co.uk, quoting the order number and details of the missing delivery. Customers are requested to provide any information reasonably required to assist our investigation with the carrier.
9.3. Business Customers: Business customers must report non-delivery within the period stated in section 9.1. Late notification may result in a claim being declined or our liability being reduced, but only to the extent that the delay has materially prejudiced our ability to investigate or recover the loss from the carrier, and where permitted by law. Any reasonable explanation for delayed notification will be considered.
9.4. Consumer Rights: For customers purchasing as consumers, the 14-day reporting period is a request to assist prompt investigation. Failure to report within this period does not remove or restrict statutory rights relating to goods that have not been delivered.
